Johann Schroth Museum

The Museum of Johann Schroth (the founder of the Dolní Lipová Spa) can be found in the newly reconstructed villa No. 476 in the village of Lipová-lázně, directly below the railway station. The museum is located on the 2nd floor of the villa. The museum focuses on the pre-war and post-war development and spa industry in the village of Lipová-lázně. The main focus of the multifunctional centre is Czech-Polish relations and cooperation.

The reconstruction of the museum was co-financed by the European Union from the ERDF and was completed in July 2006.

The Johann Schroth Nature Trail:

The trail is 8.5 km long and has eight stops. The trail is not physically demanding, the highest point is at 720 m above sea level, the lowest point is 510 m above sea level. The trail is marked with KČT direction signs of the appropriate colour, which are accompanied by the NS symbol.

The route of the nature trail: museum JS – saddle Na Pomezí – quarries on Smrčník – spring of Emperor Joseph II.

The museum is located below the railway station Lipová-lázně, about 200 m north of the church in Dolní Lipová.

By bus
