Cave Na Pomezí

It is the largest karst cave in the crystalline limestone in the Czech Republic. It was discovered in the 1930s during marble breaking in Havránek Quarry and has been open to the public since 1950.

It was formed mainly by the corrosive activity of the underground flow waters. There is a relatively rich stalactite decoration. You can find up to 10 species of bats here.

  • The total length of the parts known so far is 1700 m.
  • The length of the tour is 390 m, the tour time is 45 minutes.
  • The Na Pomezí Cave was declared a national cultural monument in 1965.

How to reach us

By car

Lipová – spa – turn to Vápenná – right by the road you will come across the cave’s operating building.

By bus

The bus stop Lipová-lázně – caves railway station is located 200 m from the caves.

By train

The train station Lipová-lázně – caves is located 200m from the caves.
